Drugs and Alcohol Throw & Know™ Activity Ball
Provide young people and adults with an interactive and entertaining way to learn the facts about many common substances of abuse. Designed for grades 7 through adult (ages 12 and up), this activity ball features 60 questions about a variety of substances of abuse, including stimulants, depressants, marijuana / cannabis, opioids, inhalants, alcohol, nicotine (including e-cigarettes) and more. The activity is ideal to reinforce information covered in lessons dedicated to drug and alcohol abuse. Using the ball is also a perfect ice-breaking or conversation-starting activity to introduce topics about drugs and alcohol, to assess players’ knowledge about substances of abuse, and to raise awareness about drug- and alcohol-related issues.
Playing with the Throw & Know Ball is easy and allows facilitators to modify play to accommodate group size and the specific needs of their players. Two or more players simply toss the ball to one another. The player who catches the ball answers the question underneath or closest to his or her right thumb. The included activity guide provides answers to the 60 questions on the ball. Great for health education classes, after-school programs, community education, and more. PVC ball is not made with natural rubber latex. Ball is 16" diameter; 24" arc length.
