Our affordable Swab Test Training Model is specifically designed for the training and demonstration of nasopharyngeal swab testing, which is used for the diagnosis of COVID-19, the flu, and other viral and some bacterial respiratory infections. The cast model features a head that is tilted back slightly for easier access to the realistically sculpted nasal passages as well as a clear Plexiglas front that facilitates student observation of procedures. A nasopharyngeal swab can be passed through the model’s nasal cavity to the recommended depth for testing. For demonstration of strep testing, a standard tongue depressor can be inserted into the model’s mouth and over the tongue, which is made of flexible, lifelike BIOLIKE™ synthetic material for a realistic feel. (Swabs and tongue depressors are not included.) Model measures 8" x 14½" x 6".
