The Boys Puberty Throw & Know Activity Ball is an interactive, entertaining, and non-threatening way for boys in grades 3 through 8 to learn the facts about puberty and what changes to expect as they grow from boys to men. The ball is ideal to reinforce information covered in lessons dedicated to puberty, changes in the body, and growing up. Using the ball is also a perfect ice-breaking or conversation-starting activity to introduce topics related to puberty and to assess players’ knowledge about what changes to expect in their developing bodies.


Playing with the ball is easy: Two or more players simply toss to the ball to one another and answer the question underneath or closest to their right thumb. Facilitators can modify play to accommodate group size and their players’ specific needs. The 48 questions on the ball cover a variety of physical and emotional changes a boy will experience during puberty. The detailed activity guide includes an answer key.
